Kiski Kahani is hosting Sunte Ho! a journey through the epic with story teller Vayu Naidu and Ruby Sahota, and music by Ansuman Biswas.

Divine Divas & Being Brit was inspired by Indian goddesses, whose multiple emotional selves become archetypes and role models for a certain generation of Indian women and for the performers who couldn’t resist engaging with another generation of Indian women of the subcontinent who grew up in Britain. As Vayu Naidu explains “We entered into a conversation with our compositions, finding a way to the past to signify the present; we journey toward a future by creating an arc of narrative about mythology and zeitgeist.”

Divine Divas, Curious Courtesans and Being Brit performed to a sellout crowd at the Southbank Centre’s ALCHEMY Festival, UK.

Vayu’s Ramayana: A Triumph of Light is an exploration of the epic and its ability to morph, change and adapt to the changing face of time. Diwali is the culmination of the journey of Rama. The story is about the adventures of Prince Rama and his wife Sita in their struggle against all odds to fight against the negative forces of nature and triumph with love; saving Light in the world. This is the central emotion in re telling this Ramayana created by Vayu Naidu. The retelling of the Ramayana by Vayu Naidu and Ansuman Biswas is a celebration of light.

Vayu Naidu’s Ramayana was performed at the Barbican Concert Hall, London as part of a Diwali Triumph of Light concert in the presence of the High Commissioner of India to the UK, H.E. Mr. Nalin Surie.
